Obituary of Gaetana Gambino

Gaetana “Anita” Gambino, 90, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. Anita was born June 1, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Patsy and the late Mary (nee Sanfilippo) Buglino.  

Anita is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Gambino.

Survived by her devoted children Joseph Gambino (Frances) and Maryann Jordan (Paul.)

Cherished grandmother of Joseph Alexander (Hannah,) Steven Joseph (Abbie,) Zachary Joseph and Catherine Alexandra.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Anita’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 31 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 and Thursday, June 1 from 2:00 – 5:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, June 2 at 10:00 AM at Mary Queen Of Heaven R.C. Church, 1395 East 56th Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Burial to immediately follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
