“My sadness is deeply shattered by the news of Hazel's passing. She was a close friend of mine while I was in New York Community Hospital. It is very hard and painful to learn of her death. I have this profound sadness, grief and even unbelief. She was a beautiful soul and always knew how to bring light to a room. My sympathies to the family. She will always be remembered as the beautiful, bright, sprite, always smiling nurse in our hearts. Knowing you was a great pleasure. Rest well my queen.”

The coolest aunt forever & for always! I’ll miss your stories, your creative spirit, & how we bonded over being one of the few leftys in the family.
