Obituary of Florence DeRise
Florence DeRise, 86, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023. Ms. DeRise was born May 20, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Gregory and the late Helen (nee Berke) Slabicki.
Devoted mother of Charles DeRise (Teency) and the late Bridget DeRise.
Cherished grandmother of Jennifer and Nicolas.
Forever In Our Hearts
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Ms. DeRise’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 1950 Batchelder Street, Brooklyn, NY.
Burial to immediately follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
