Obituary of Margarita Tapia

Julia Margarita Tapia Vasquez, nació el 12 de abril de 1934; en la ciudad de Lima - Perú. Dejó de existir el 27 de Agosto a las 8:18 am en Brooklyn, Nueva York. Margarita se despidió de todos nosotros, su familia, y regresó al seno del Señor. Ahora está reunida con sus padres, Ruperto Tapia Zegarra y Margarita Vasquez Guerrero, y su hermano Leoncio Tapia Vasquez.

Julia Margarita siempre será amada y recordada, estará presente en los corazones de sus hermanas: Mary y Benita Tapia Vasquez, sus hijos, Fred, Edelmira, y Martha Morales Tapia, sus nietos, Margaret, Carlos, Karla, Claudia, Julio, Christian, Meliza, Daniela, y Juan, sus bisnietos, Nathan, Geraldine, Jeremy, Anthony, Sebastian, Valeria, Abigail, Matthew, y Emma, al igual que sus muchos sobrinos, nueras y bisnueras, yernos y bisyernos, y amistades.

Mujer fuerte e intrépida con espíritu aventurero, que siempre valoró el trabajo y la familia; nos deja un buen ejemplo y muchos sabios consejos. Las consecuencias de sus acciones, y decisiones impactaron directamente a tres generaciones; quienes ahora sueñan, trabajan, y aman aquí en los Estados Unidos. ¡Estamos eternamente agradecidos!

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 30 from 4:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

Julia Margarita Tapia Vasquez was a treasurer in the department of Education in Lima, Peru where she was born and raised. She came to the USA twice and stayed for three decades after her 90s visit, making a life in Brooklyn, NY with her family; helping it grow and expand. 

She was a hard worker and really loved being a working woman. With the support of her parents, she raised her three kids who made her a grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her purpose and motivation in life was to do right by her family and she did! She will be remembered and remains forever loved by many!
