Dearest Ang,
You were one of my closest friends, confidant and surrogate mom. I will forever miss our walks and long talks. The laughs you and I shared will be cherished by me forever. Even when you moved, I knew you were only a call away and boy oh boy we could be on that phone for hours. I will forever miss your systems (garbage/recycle, walking stick, stove stickers and much more) and your cooking but most of all I miss you. You were always there for me and were so smart with so much wisdom and no judgement ever.
The world lost a beautiful Ang angle but heaven sure gained one.
I will love you forever.
Love Amy

Angie was one of the first people I met when my (now) husband, (then) boyfriend brought to Davis Park on Fire Island in 1981. She was one of my mother-in-law's best friends so I was in her company a lot. She was warm and friendly and so beautiful - the epitome of cool I thought and I was pretty much in awe of her. When she and Joe divorced, I was devastated. It also meant she'd only be at Davis Park for a two-week visit each summer, but we always managed to make sure to see each other for a quick visit. I never got tired of talking with her. She would tell me all about her family and her bed and breakfast and her travels. Always, that beautiful smile. My husband, Donald, and I are so sad to hear this news but I'm glad to know she was surrounded by family at the end. Thank you Angie for being my personal inspiration on living life to the fullest. Oh Angela! I am so happy to have known you! You never really stopped smiling even though things got to be hard sometimes. Your heart was always open and welcoming. I am privileged to have been your chiropractor and friend for such a long time in VT. May you rest in peace knowing you have given your children wonderful memories of the kind and loving person that you were. the photo was the one that Margo shared with me when she went to visit Angela August 28, 2022. She was such a beautiful woman.

I was Angela’s eighth grade classmate at St.Mark Parochial School in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. We graduated in January 1950. She stood out in class with her intelligence and participation. I am sorry for our loss.

Recenty we lost our beloved Aunt Angie .
She was an incredible person. She loved nature , skiing , tennis , arts and crafts, great books and films she loved Wes Anderson , the NY baseball Giants and The NY Times . She had a beautiful smile was an amazing home chef. Her cheesecake was Heaven . She was always on the move . Her son, my cousin Joe told me she was hiking the mountains just the day before she went into the hospital two days ago. She passed peacefully surrounded by her children and grandchildren, she had the chance to say goodbye to her children and ascended while in their company this morning. Angie will be remembered by friends and family for all I mentioned . This photo was taken by my mom in our driveway on 21st Street in Sheepshead Bay . A celebration of her life will take place in Sheepshead Bay at end of September.
R.I.P. Angelina ( La Capria ) Miccio . We love you .

After Angela and I learned to play Bridge , we were some of the founding members of the Bridge Group in Ludlow, Vermont. Besides the weekly game, we played every Sunday afternoon. With her friend, Ray, we liked trying different restaurants in our Vermont area. We have such wonderful memories of the time we spent with our good friend, a lovely lady, Angela.mrJA
