James Casey Patrick McKee, (1941- 2024)

James (Jim), age 83, passed away on December 30, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends at his home on Fulton Street in Cherry Hill, where he lived and raised his family for over 55 years.

Jim is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice, and was the proud father of three children; Casey (Kim), Maryellen, Robert (Adrienne). He was a devoted grandfather to Casey, Declan, Delaney, Tessa and Finn. He is also survived by his sister Maryellen (Jim) Barnes.

Jim was born in Brooklyn, NY and was predeceased by his parents Frank and Virgina McKee, as well as his brother, Jerry.

A proud graduate of Midwood High School and Boston College, Jim began his distinguished career in banking at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. With over 20 years of dedicated service as a loan review officer, he rose to Executive Vice President and later served as President of First National Bank. Jim eventually became a partner at Ardmore Banking Advisors, where he continued to work tirelessly to support his family and share his expertise. In 1968, Jim and Alice moved to South Jersey, where they built an incredible life for themselves and their children. Jim was a founding member of the South Jersey Rugby Club, a role he cherished and dedicated himself to wholeheartedly. At the same time, Jim nurtured his family connections in New York, which led him to purchase a summer home in Breezy Point, NY. This allowed him to remain close to his extended family, including his eight brother and sister-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews from the McDonald, Purpura, and Barnes families.

Jim was a man of deep faith who lived his life with passion and purpose, driven by an unwavering love for his family. His kindness, dedication, and sense of humor will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
