Obituary of Joseph Abruscato

Joseph Abruscato, Jr., age 81, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2023. Mr. Abruscato was born December 16,1941 in Manhattan, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Madeline (nee DeLorenzo) Abruscato. 

He was a veteran of the United States Army. 

Mr. Abruscato is survived by his wife Marie (nee Ciappa) Abruscato.

Devoted father of Dean (Tracey,) Michele (the late Lee Michael) and Gina (Thomas.)

Cherished grandfather of Danielle, Jessica, Samantha, Michele, Dean, Justina and Lisa.

Great grandfather to Rowyn and Kaia.

Beloved brother of Salvatore Abruscato, Prosper Abruscato, JoanVira and Mildred Ortiz.

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Mr. Abruscato’s soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 7 from 2:00 – 7:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Resurrection R.C. Church, 2331 Gerritsen Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
