Lheeza, or Isay, and I were friends since elementary grade. When I think of her, I remember us walking home in the afternoon from high school. Isay, Imay and me with our fash ng ionable umbrellas.
In our childhood, she lived only a few blocks from my house in Cavite City. We lost contact during our college days but reconnected again at our high school reunion in Las Vegas. From then on, we kept in touch.
Isay began organizing get togethers on the East Coast. She brought us together and because of her, the friends we made here are friends forever. The friends we chose as family.
Maya Angelou once said, "A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again." That's Isay - a great soul.
Isay - you were a loving, caring and very generous friend. You never ceased to forget me and my husband, Alex, every Christmas time
To Ronnie - thank you for your never-ending love, care and patience for Isay. She was very lucky to have you in her life.

Our friendships all started on that first east coast hs reunion, we were batch mates then and over the years we all became good friends and now family, we used to gather once a year and it became twice a year and recently three times a year when you became sick. We wanted to make the most of the time that you will still be with us.You were there even if you’re not feeling well, still making sure we have enough food, who needs a ride, games to play etc.Our get together will never be the same without you, but we will continue,because we know that is what you want for us to do.Lheeza, you have the kindest, generous, compassionate and loving heart, we will miss you terribly and we hope that you felt loved by us all the times that we were together.You are so much loved ❤️❤️❤️And thank you Ronnie for sharing Lheeza with us, we love you both!

Tita Eliza had a loving heart and was such a kind soul. I remember when she met her grandnephews and grandniece for the first time, she stayed so calm and patient kahit magugulo yung mga bata. She connected with everyone she met and she will be missed.
