Obituary of Eliza Magajes Arenas

Eliza M. Arenas, age 61, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023. Mrs. Arenas was born August 8, 1961 in the Philippines. She is the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Minerva (nee Villanueva) Magajes. 

 

She was devoted to Mount Sinai Hospital in Brooklyn, having worked as a Registered Nurse there for 35 years. 

 

She is survived by her beloved husband Ronald Arenas.

 

She will be missed by her beloved mother, Minerva Magajes, and siblings, Amparo and family, Orlando and family, Evelyn and Mario, Mirla and family & Irma and family. 

 

Forever In Our Hearts

 

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Mrs. Arenas’ soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

 

Visitation will be Friday, March 17 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.

 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Help Of Christians R.C. Church, 1315 East 28th Street, Brooklyn, NY.
