Dad,
I miss you so much already! You made me the man I am today. Your sense of humor was iconic. I’m so glad we got to spend so much time together after you retired to Florida.
Rest easy Pop. I love you.

My deepest condolences to the Dana family. For the time I knew Bob in his latter years. I enjoyed the time I would visit with him. Bob loved all his kids and would tell me he was proud of them though I think he had a hard time showing it to them his self as he had to uphold the image of authority. Bob also shared with me the love he had for his grandkids and the times he went to their ball games. He loved that so much. going to miss you Bob. it was my pleasure being with you there in the end

You were one of the funniest people I’ve met in my life. I can’t remember a time that you didn’t make me laugh without even trying. Your mannerism, facial expressions or comments would cause me to laugh wether I wanted to or not.
You also were one of the most sincere persons during some of our conversations. Whether I asked you about the Police Department or life you ALWAYS spoke to me from the heart. I would listen intently because I knew you were giving me life advice from your experiences not just what you believed or thought I wanted to hear.
I haven’t spoken or been with you in a while which makes me sad at this time BUT I will treasure the fact that I knew you & you treated me like one of your own.
It’s been a long time, from My junior year at Beach Channel till that last dinner I had with you & Sean down in Florida some years ago, I will remember you for the rest of my life!!
I’m great full to have called you my friend.
They broke the mold when they made you!!!
Rest easy Captain, Forever in my thoughts, Colin Phillips

My condolences to the entire Dana family. I'm the youngest of the "Barry Family" and I don't remember to much of my childhood but I do remember going over to Uncle Patty and Auntie Anna's home where I got to meet you all! Such great memories of playing outside on the cement wall on the hill driveway, the Church steps and the white Christmas tree with the color wheel, and everyone cooking and having a wonderful time. Thanks for the memories, may God Bless you all and Bobby's soul, sincerely,
Clare (Barry) and John Garza

Mr Dana was the best “team dad” of all time. I played basketball with Tommy for several years as a kid, and not only did he make every game but, he was also a calming/supportive friend to our entire team. He was just so kind to everyone.
My condolences to the Dana family.
