Frank was a truly special person. He was such a loyal and faithful friend. He started out as my boss and that quickly turned into a lifelong friendship of almost 34 years! We celebrated the good times and bad together - he rescued me on 9/11 by picking me up in Brooklyn, he supported me when my parents passed away and I him, when his Mom passed away, he danced at my wedding, and he celebrated with me when my son was born! He was loved and will always be remembered. Rest in peace, my friend.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Frank?
A: I worked with Frank for several years at the NYC Office of Management & Budget when I started my career. He was a great teammate who was incredibly honest, generous, and ethical. I appreciated his mentorship and humor. I will remember him always.

Frank and I had been friends for 41 years. We met while working at OMB, and at one point, Frank was my boss. We became good friends in addition to being work colleagues. Frank was a whiz with numbers and there was nothing he couldn't reconcile. I learned quite a bit from Frank, which helped me in my career over the years. Over the last couple of decades, a group of us comprised of current and former OMB’ers would get together for dinner periodically. Frank always joined us - his favorite drink was a Diet Pepsi. I always kidded Frank that he would get wild when he had one too many Diet Pepsi’s. The pandemic paused the our get togethers, and unfortunately the recurrence of multiple myeloma stopped Frank from joining us last year when we did meet again. I will miss Frank terribly. He was a kind, smart, funny and caring individual. The world needs more people like Frank.

This is such sad news. I worked with Frank more than thirty years ago when we worked in the Municipal Building and then later at 75 Park Place. He was a gentle, kind, and considerate man. And a major baseball fan. I'm shocked and saddened and will miss him. Farewell my friend.

We are so sorry for your loss - Frank was a great guy! He will truly be missed...He was the cousin that we always looked up to and admired. He seemed to have handled his sickness with patience and fortitude.
