Obituary of Frank P. DeMarinis
After a long and courageous battle with 9-11 related multiple myeloma, Frank P. DeMarinis passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023. He is survived by his sisters, Isabel DeMarinis and Cathy Mueller (Steve). Beloved uncle of Catherine Braun (Scott), Michael Punch (Sevim) and Max Mueller (Brieanna). Dear great uncle of Sarah Braun, Andrew Braun, Ayla Ramic, Fatima Ramic and Kennedy Punch.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn and a forever fan of the New York Yankees. He graduated from Holy Name of Jesus grammar school, Bishop Ford High School, and earned Bachelor and Master's degrees in Economics from Brooklyn College. He served six years in the Army National Guard. He was a thirty-five year employee of New York City's Office of Management and Budget, retiring as Deputy Assistant Budget Director. Frank was a gentle, honest and generous man who always succeeded in making people laugh!
Forever In Our Hearts
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May Frank's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Reposing Thursday, April 13 from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc., 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 12:00 PM on Friday, April 14 at Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church, 2805 Ft. Hamilton Parkway, Brooklyn.
Burial to immediately follow at Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn.
