All the words in the world cannot express how I feel about the loss of a great person, Joe Sotomayor. He left me a beautiful garden that I treasure dearly but now it's even more special. Joe taught me so many things.
I Will Miss You Forever
I will always stand by Terry and the kids that is my promise to you always. I Love You Joe till we meet again.

Deepest Sympathy to Terry and Joes family, Many years have past but I will remember him for the times we spent tending his pigeons on the roof at Kent ave. There was a garden in the back yard we worked on, he did most of the work , he was really good with gardening and I remember his great collection of Classic Salsa music. These are recollections that come to mind at the moment. There was so much more to his life, I count him blessed for the wife and children in his life and family he had.
Rest in peace Bro

Joe always found unique ways to express his inner self as manifested in his endeavors as a dad, with his photography, gardening, raising homing pigeons, Salsa dancing (viva Fania All Stars) and for his love for animals in general. All these activities required skill, hard work and dedication; he excelled in all of the above.
When it came time to defend his country, he joined the Marines. A Purple Heart recipient, he gave the Marines and the USA his all. We are grateful for his service and for all the things he taught us along the way via his hobbies and insights.
Joe loved family, learning new skills, traveling and loved Puerto Rico. SOLO (“by one person alone”) was Joe’s nickname.
Solo, I wish you farewell and know that when you knock on the Pearly Gates, a beautiful garden requiring your care awaits you!
God Bless you my Brother!
Larry
