Florence Young, age 84, of Brooklyn passed peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Florence was born January 5, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Francis and the late Margaret (May) Flynn. Beloved wife of the late Robert K. Young. Cherished mother of Robert (Liz), Raymond, Ronald (Kerry) and Russell (Lisa). Dear sister of Marguerite, Jo-Anne and the late Georgina. Adored grandmother of Anthony (Sherri), Maria, Miranda (Robert), Shannon, Kassidy, Caitlyn, Kaylee, and Ryan and great grandmother of Anthony, Michael, and Rowan. Florence always had her 4 legged friends by her side, Kenzi and Remi.

Wake will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home. 3024 Quentin Road Brooklyn, NY 11234, 718-339-8900.

Funeral mass will be on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. 1950 Batchelder Street Brooklyn, NY 11229.

Committal service will immediately follow to Green-Wood Crematory. 500 25th Street Brooklyn, NY 11232.
