Oh, how I miss our daily coffee meetups, Arleen. Entenmann's cake without your laughter is simply not the same. You were my BFF and my dog's second mother, always wise with an answer under your generous sleeve. A conversation with you was a slice of life — sweet, rich and thoughtfully crafted. Even when health failed you, your spirit remained playful and selfless. Your kind soul continues to warm my heart.

I always remember Arlene for her up beat positive outlook. Nothing ever seemed to be a problem and Arlene brought humor and sensibility to every childhood "trauma ". She always accepted me for who I was; an over the top somewhat eccentric kid. I loved her deeply, like an aunt, that always had your back and loved you no matter what. Arlene will be missed but i know she and mom are drinking tea and coffee and sharing an entemans cake in heaven until the wee hours in the morning planning our next ridiculous caper. My thoughts go out to Honey and Lizzy; sisters from another mother.
