Obituary of Arlene B. Remsen

Arlene B. Remsen, age 86 of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday August 14, 2023.

Arlene was born in Brooklyn on April 3,1937.  Arlene is predeceased by her loving husband James W. Remsen.

Arlene is also predeceased by her parents, Agnes and Fred Dosch and her siblings John, Fred,Thomas, Robert and beloved sister Ann. 

Arlene is survived by her Daughters Eileen and Husband John Crilley and Elizabeth Remsen.

Loving Grandmother of John Kevin, his Fiancé Katina Renedo and Caitlin Jaime. 

Cherished Aunt, Friend and Neighbor.

Arlene loved life and lived it to its fullest. She will be forever remembered for her kindness and incredible Irish wit. With Arlene you always knew where you stood and how loved you truly were.  

She was deeply loved by all who new her, and will be dearly missed. 

Forever In Our Hearts

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Arlene's soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Reposing Saturday, August 19 from 8:00 - 9:15 AM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 19 at St. Columba R.C. Church, 2245 Kimball Street, Brooklyn.

Burial to immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey.
