Obituary of Patricia Elizabeth Schanstra

Patricia Elizabeth Schanstra, 76, of Brooklyn, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. Mrs. Schanstra was born January 29, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late William and the late Helen (nee Condon) Enny.

Mrs. Schanstra is predeceased by her devoted husband George Schanstra.

She is survived by her children Eric Schanstra (Sarah,) George Schanstra (KelliAnn) and Carl Schanstra (Patricia A.)

Beloved grandmother of Kailynn, Nicholas, Andrew and Autumn.

Mrs. Schanstra is survived by her nine siblings; Raymond Enny, George Enny, Helen Vela, Grover Enny, Dorothy Gordon, Elizabeth Currier, Bridget Barlow, Annmarie Ingleston and William Enny.

She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM and Friday, October 13, 2023 from 2:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY. 

A service will take place Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 4118 Avenue R, Brooklyn, NY.

Private cremation to follow at Green-Wood Crematory.
